Blessing of Christ at the Sepulchre

On the afternoon of Sunday 2 April, the Solemn Blessing of the new image of the Holy Burial took place in the Chapel of the Towers, the work of Juan Alberto Pérez Rojas, a native of Ronda who lives in Seville.

The event, organised by the Archconfraternity of the Nazareno de las Torres, was sponsored by the Alora Town Hall and the Parachute Brigade and was attended by the accidental mayoress, Sonia Ramos; the parish priest of Alora, Juan de Jesús Báez; the Elder Brother, Francisco Lucas Carrasco Bootello; the parish priests Antonio Jesús Carrasco Bootello and Leandro Carrasco Bootello, and the chief general of the Parachute Brigade, Alfredo Pérez de Aguado.
